Store of nightmares. (Garment District, NYC)
No lies, I saw a large Asian man carrying a bag for Spandex World on the subway the other day. Boyfriend and I decided he was either a drag queen or a ninja.
I instantly thought of 94monkeys. I bet her life is complete now.The crazy thing was, this wasn’t even the only spandex-related store on that block! (West 37th between 7th and 8th, and no, I don’t live anywhere nearby.) Right after I took this photo I turned west and I saw another! That a city could support multiple spandex-only establishments… it just makes you happy for the world, doesn’t it?
